  1. Identification of Clients (Players) and Due Diligence (DDC)
  • The user accepts the KYC policy:

It's particularly important for www.micasino.com  to know who your potential users are before they're accepted as eligible players on www.micasino.com. For that reason, users must provide a set of data in order to open an account on www.micasino.com. Users who do not register on the website will not be able to play. Upon completion of the registration process with a successful background check and having accepted the terms and conditions and privacy policy, the user will be accepted as an eligible player.

Identification consists of the collection of the player's personal data. This information is collected during the registration process. The personal information that will be collected is to initiate the Know Your Customer (KYC) procedure, which includes the collection of the following personal data:

  • Name and surname
  • Permanent residential address
  • Date of birth, as the player must be over eighteen years of age (or such other age as applicable in the player's particular jurisdiction)
  • Valid email address
  • Place of birth
  • Nationality
  • Identity reference number where applicable.
  • Constrained Country Actors: The FATF identifies jurisdictions with weak measures to combat money laundering and terrorist financing (AML/CFT) in two FATF public documents published three times a year. The FATF's process for publicly including countries with weak AML/CFT regimes has proven to be effective. As of February 2024, the FATF has reviewed 131 countries and jurisdictions and publicly identified 106 of them. Of those, 82 have since made the necessary reforms to address their AML/CFT weaknesses and have been removed from the process. This list is often externally referred to as a greylist.

Our platform has established a strict policy for Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) verification, requiring each user to declare their status initially. In addition, we carry out continuous checks to ensure the accuracy of this information. In the event that a user initially declared as non-PEP is identified as such, their account will be automatically closed without the possibility of appeal. This is fully compliant with legal standards and contributes to maintaining the integrity of our community.

In order for the user to accept the KYC policy, users cannot have anonymous or named account records.

Existing anonymous accounts, accounts with fictitious names (Nicknames), or accounts with inconsistent identification should undergo due diligence as soon as possible to determine the identity and legitimacy of the account holder. If it is impossible to identify the identity of the account holder, the account will be terminated, winnings will be voided, and deposits will be paid to the account from which they were received, or held if returning deposits is impractical or costly.

Each user may establish, maintain, use and control a single account. If www.micasino.com determines that you have opened, maintained, used, or controlled more than one account, in addition to any other rights you  may www.micasino.com have, www.micasino.com reserves the right to suspend or terminate any or all of your accounts.

www.micasino.com will respond to any attempted gambling by anyone who qualifies as a Politically Exposed Person (i.e., any person who holds or has held such an office at any time) during the preceding year or who has access to public funds or is in a position of influence). Therefore, a risk-based approach should be applied depending on the value and scale of the game and the location of that customer. The questionnaires will include questions that identify PEPs.
